kevin1927
I had 6" on the back deck 20 minutes ago. Streets and sidewalks probably half that. They are always lower than everyone else though. Had 2.8" at 12pm. We'll see.
wxeyeNH
I reside in the narrow sliver of eastern MA that whiffed the blizzard, and minimized this potential. I need Monday... I've whiffed everything this year (except a 5" sleetfest). I bet I'll whiff Monday too!

ryanjn
So when a meso band on radar is present, often the snow will be offset a bit, ain't that right folks? Usually it's upstream because of the lag of the snow falling for some time. In today case with a band nearly stagnant, any thoughts on if any displacement is occurring or if that's essentially where the snow will fall, directly underneath? Winds seem to be parallel, northerly, through most of the saturated layer. North Shore getting destroyed right now. Prob tenth mile vis and straight up cement coming down. Wouldn't be surprised to see a little local max in totals from Cape Ann to Boston. Amagad as I'm writing this this band is getting out of hand. It's exploding. PineHillsWx
I'd honestly think you guys would have more by now. Still, 10in ain't bad at all for a forecast of 1-2in 48 hours ago : Just checked two more inches and up to 10, given that I didn't measure properly I wouldn't doubt if we received a foot. Unreal... Snowedin
Just amazing that this time yesterday we had huge puddles in our backyard from previous rain and melting snow. I didn't think any of this would actually accumulate given how moist the ground was.
