mitchnick
Been snowing moderately to at times heavy here since 2 am or so. Temp quickly fell to 32. Currently moderate snow. Looks like 2" just eyeballing. Pasty and pretty on the trees.Congrats. You're getting just what I said yesterday you would get. Failed on this side of the pond. PrinceFrederickWx
There's really nothing going on out there. Wet roads. It is down here but they only think about the NoVA people as usual
CAPE
Based on radar I would say the heaviest snow fell/is falling about 10-15 miles to my SE. Persistent 30 dbz returns down that way. Probably some 4" amounts southern Caroline and northern Dorchester, and over into central DE. HRRR pretty much nailed it.

Bob Chill
So, did anybody get any appreciable snow? I appreciated the couple flakes that fell last night and this morning. I appreciated the sound of sleet too.
WeSuck
This reminded me of when I lived in Hampton Roads. Look out the window multiple times to only see wet ground and streets...
CAPE
So, did anybody get any appreciable snow? Do us'nz over here on the eastern sherr count? 2" at my place of heavy pasty snow. Temp dropped to 32, but the ground was so warm and wet and in a short duration event it had an impact. I should have had more like 4 or 5". vance1167
This pretty much met my expectation. Borderline temps with borderline QPF almost never works out well here. This is really the classic DC snow situation. If you got your hopes up, shame on you.
