mitchnick
I'm in Williamsburg for the night. Should I have brought a shovel? Lucky. I always wanted to be there in the snow. Enjoy. Try lunch or dinner at Berrett's. Love that place but there are a lot if great places in Market Square.

nj2va
Talk about a E-W cutoff on the GFS - IAD less than 0.1" while DCA is ~0.35" QPF.

dailylurker
Sleet here in Western AA County. Soon as those echoes came over. The sleet started pinging. Must be pretty chilly up there. Good sign imo.

mitchnick
Great Wolf Lodge with the kids. Historical stuff in the snow tomorrow hopefully. Hahaha.I've never been there, but my daughter has and loved it. As many times as my wife and I have been down there, we've yet to do the historic stuff. Though I did about 33 yeats ago. I figure why do it again. It's not like they bring new stuff to Colonial Williamsburg. Lol

Look at the link on a prior page I posted to the sounding at iad. Thanks bud Even as the precip lightens up, it's still pingy. That and the radar are starting to set a good little vibe. Ian
Radar is not looking too hot though the vort is rounding the base so it should light up a bit. Would have liked to see better presentation by now though. Gotta wake up early to cover CWG so fingers crossed.

Best action is probably only 4 or 5 hours.
mitchnick
Sleeting Temp 43.5 That tells me that once the precip gets steady, it should transition within an hour or two at the most.

Nice moisture train starting to set for us on the east side. Looks like it's surging up towards DC. Some colors starting to show up on p-type radar, too.
