BuffaloWeather
That QPF was from weatherbell so I deleted it. But it shows lots of QPF, those are 2m temps so going to be close for mixture.
BuffaloWeather
This event starts very early Tues Morning so we are within 40 hours of the start of the event and the GEFS are finally showing a nice cluster.

lakeeffectkid383
Looking more like KBUF could cash in nicely however I'm concerned this thing isn't done trending NW. I could see ROC ending up all rain and BUF ending up 1/2 rain 1/2 snow. With about an inch of QPF (if .5" fell as snow) that still wouldn't be too bad... It's such a narrow corridor for snow that it will likely become a now-casting event. But I expect Winter Storm Watches by tomorrow morning for WNY if 0z trends are similar. Quite funny how cold air will be the issue here when we just set records today for most of the area with -12 at KBUF and -37 at Watertown. Coldest temps in 30+ years. WNash
KBUF mentions sleet possibility in Erie county, they are worried about the NW trend as well. Looking at the latest update, they seemed to have dropped the sleet talk from far WNY and seem fairly confident that Buffalo will be all snow. CNY-LES FREAK
00Z solidifies whether we see Slop or mainly IP/SN. I'm betting on a whole lotta slop for the Cuse area while places 50 west Love Life, lol!!

CNY-LES FREAK
I wonder why the US even has models as they default to the EURO every single time. This map is exactly what the Euro snow map shows,How do I know? Cause I have it, but cant post it, lol!!
CNY-LES FREAK
Will the NW trend continue? We shall see... You should be out gathering supplies as this may be KROC's biggest event synoptically in yrs, as I was hoping for the cuse, but its not looking too good! rochesterdave
If I drew my dream map for WNY it would have a 970ish low over CNY. Oh wait, it would be the 18z NAM.
