DeltaT13
Agree tim. This is about as good as it can get for Kroc. The upper lakes are really producing right now. I think the south shore does very well. Immediately behind that front there are already hints at pure lake effect setting up. We've got about 2 inches so far from the Erie band and the front. CNY_WX
12Z NAM = colder and weaker. It has about .5 inch LE over CNY. Most of the precip would be overnight Monday into Tuesday. It doesn't appear we would have any mixing worries here with this run.

Gorizer
Finally some synoptic snow in the Albany Schenectady Troy region Monday night?? Then do we seal it in with a layer of freezing rain/sleet early Tuesday? So then if it changes to rain it can run right off the top of it before ending as snow late? Lot's of questions with the storm track yet. Trying to make the best of a not so great storm track in a horrible Capital District snow year. CNY_WX
12Z GFS has the low basically over NYC at 78 hours which should be a good spot for us. But it throws very little precipitation back this way. We might get 1-3 out of it if we're lucky.
