Damage In Tolland
One thing which to me which is interesting,..I was expecting to wake up to cold temps in the low 20's. Instead it's 31 here with winds gusting near 40. Was thinking powder bomb.

ineedsnow
I still think we get hit pretty good Man are things looking good this morning. Gonna be a wild next couple days Like Will said..watch out for big bands well NW of what some of the guidance shows
OceanStWx
Based on my banding keys, what you see on radar now is being forced around the H7 level. Matches the SPC mesoanalysis well. The forecasts of the H7 features through the day don't really improve much for most of SNE though. The Euro is probably the worst look for the region, with the others of the big four at least bring that lift into SE MA.

CoastalWx
Still not sure about those amounts, but BOX totals more reasonable. Pym county is gonna get some good snows I think.
Ginx snewx
Winds absolutely cranked in that lead burst for a while, saw distance flashes I assume were some power flashes to the south of me.
OceanStWx
Snow is really going to have to pick up in the next two hours to catch up to what has been modeled. A lot of guidance says 1-2 inches by 12z, but it's going to be close at this rate.
OceanStWx
I'll say the latest HRRR and 06z RGEM look on track though for amounts through 12z. Looks like the RGEM trimmed back just a little bit too.
OceanStWx
I wish we could get a back bent warm front in here. The warm front will be tickling Hazey's fanny. If that HRRR is onto anything, there will be some disappointed folks, both in the WFO and out.

OceanStWx
The spread on the NCAR ensembles is interesting too for the SNE area. It's like you either hit big or don't hit at all. 4 members above warning criteria at BOS, 1 advisory, and the rest sub-advisory. So it's nearly a 50/50 split of warning to sub-advisory. WinterWolf
I'm no MET, but BOX put Hartford county and New Haven county into the WSW? The modeling looked to move away from that very idea, but what do I know. I have a feeling that I won't see anything close to 4-8 here. Maybe an inch or two is what I'm thinking. Hope BOX knows what they are seeing, and prove me incorrect.
Mr. Windcredible!
I'm just not seeing the higher amounts for CT. This is my map...been my thinking since Saturday night. At this point it's about half what the NWS is calling for...but I'm sticking with it.
WinterWolf
Great map in my opinion. I feel that BOX IS way high. And the whole days and days of snow...well that isn't going to happen either imo.
