nutmegfriar
It seems as if some here expect NWS to jump at every iteration of the models, forgetting that human judgement/skill/experience are involved. I have no problem with the NWS being cautious and have grown accustomed to how accumulations are handled.
Damage In Tolland
Yeah, and you'd rail against them if they went snow and took it away. Fact is that model consensus didn't occur with this until late in the game. It happens, enjoy your advisory. I don't know how you can stick up for that. It's not doing the public any service by going from 0 to 6 inches on probability maps. It's one thing if you follow the wx..but the main population that goes on NWS sites is the general public looking for quick info. It's nothing against you or anyone else..but something has to change

Anyway..I'll enjoy my 7-10 and you enjoy your 3-6 and your call for here is...? As it stands I do think we actually get some accumulation in Greenfield (where I-91 meets Rt 2, for those who don't know). I think 2" might be a possibility. I don't know what to tell you, clearly you're unhappy with how much snow they are forecasting. Seems like they thinking higher terrain locations flip first in addition to heavier QPF areas farther east.
wxeyeNH
By reading this posts and trying to figure out if I get any goods I would guess the .25" line runs to just north of Concord NH to just east of Lake Winni in NH? Anyone who has qpf data please feel free to chime in on this "how much in my backyard" question. Thanks
SouthCoastMA
Do we even get 6" after rain on the euro? Your location is fine. It's a bit more precarious down here with the changeover..but even if we were to lose half to rain..that's still about .7-.8" of snowfall.

CarverWX
Is there going to be much wind with this? I am kind of concerned if we get 8-10 of heavy wet snow there will be some serious power issues.

Damage In Tolland
The heavy wet snow axis has shifted west with the models. I think Scooter was thinking that issue would be more for far SE areas..but as this thing keeps bumping west it brings more of the interior into play for 31-32 snow .
