SR Airglow
Non-insignificant = significant? Game on. Yes. Verbatim it's still pretty lame for everyone but it's a big jump NW from the 18z run. Will post comparisons when I have better maps in a sec. Edit: Maybe not so lame now at hour 39. Might actually be decent.
dryslot
GFS will be north of 18z. And they are such fickle little changes, almost seems silly to be tracking specific threats like the one next week at extended leads other than acknowledge their existence. It saw its shadow

ORH_wxman
Not much outside of about GHG-PVD line...you're going to want to be in that heavier zone to get accumulations given the boundary layer.

eduggs
This is what storms looked like in the days before everything was either a blizzard or a miss. It's easy to look past a pedestrian looking event when you're very confident you know what a legit threat looks like. I hope somebody cashes in with this. These systems can be fun. Could be sneaky high intensity, moderate duration if things break right, especially if surface temps can cool to near freezing.
SR Airglow
Best frames of the 0z and 18z GFS's -- nice bump west for sure.

NorEastermass128
If Jerry's Uncle is in......Scooter may want to start printing that honorary met degree for Kevin. I'm encouraged to see NW movement on the American guidance and a solid hit on the RGEM to start the 0z suite.
