WinterWolf
There's a good chance IMO that the Euro goes back east tonight on this system. Euro would bring me accumulating snow, I'm not thinking that happens here. Unless more modeling jumps on board with the west trend again at 0z. Which I doubt. I would say there's an equal chance that other models jump on board vs the euro/ukie/rgem caving. Other than the anecdotes of these types of systems (w/elongated mid-levels) ticking SE as they get closer, Im not sure I've seen good reasoning to lean one way or the other. Then again I'm not a met. Because I'm thinking the Euro overcorrected, and will go back east tonight. That's my reasoning. I could be very wrong. But that's my feeling. Euro hasn't been to great this season so far. CoastalWx
A 20 mile tick SE means 4" to a coating for many areas. That can easily happen.
ORH_wxman
I think the meteorology argues to be cautious. It's like when some of us mets would criticize forecasts of 12-18" in SWFE despite the model QPF being high enough to support it. The meteorology would say slice the QPF a bit.
