stlirish
I would expect that lift later tonight will create additional "pop up" banding that will kind of look likes it's coming out of no where. So I wouldn't concentrate too much on orientation of downstream radar. I think most of us will be snowing by 10pm. Pop up thundersnow after midnight. stlirish
But then by hr 8 and 9 the band disapates. That's where I think it's off and out of range. It can't detect what's fully going on in the atmosphere later tonight Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

F5TornadoF5
Later in that hrrr run, snow develops along NJ and looks like it starts to extend eastward.
Guest Pamela
23z RAP indicates that it is all over; especially for NYC & LI.

UlsterCountySnowZ
Radar looks good Change your settings to precip depiction, it will show you what's actually hitting the ground.. This is what the current radar is showing for what's making it to surface

WeatherFeen2000
This will be a bust in my opinion. 1-2 inches tops
UlsterCountySnowZ
This will be a bust in my opinion. 1-2 inches tops I really wouldn't call that a bust, expectations were far to elevated for this event, especially after the initial wave came so close to the coast
Mitchel Volk
Trace to two inches at the most. These inverted troughs are always very difficult to predict.
