I don't see any way NC loss to Louisville doesn't drop them, Villanova is over rated. Of that list you wrote, Maryland is the most deserving of the number 1 spot. But I hope your right! I've watched almost every game this year. Pretty enamored with the squad. 3 definite and 2 possible future NBA players with the starting 5. If we either win the Big 10 regular season or conference tournament that should earn us a 1 seed. Of course I would like to see them win both but if I had to pick I'd rather win the regular season title. Sometimes 3 tough games in a row aren't the best thing right before the tourney. In 2002 we won the ACC with a 15-1 record then lost to N.C. State in the semi's of the conference tournament before going on to win it all.
