I don't really trust either, since the transmitters sit between my windows and screens. So then I grab my cooking probe, check that it is calibrated to 32F in an ice water bath. That one now reads 34, hanging mid-air (and inside an inverted cup to stay dry) on the deck. I'll choose that one. 34F it is.
