Inane, useless posts are fine if you have over 10k posts or are over 40 years old. Obviously it was a stupid post that I shouldn't have made, but stuff like that spews out of the keyboards of established members here all the time. It seems as tho if I post anything other than my temp and dewpoint I get shot down. For instance, I pointed out that the profile aloft was ideal for dendrites with the caveat that warm surface temps would prevent high ratios from being realized but was immediately told numerous times that "surface temps have absolutely no correlation to snow ratios" which is completely untrue.
