Snowless in Carrollton
It always seems like the CLT area gets screwed out of every possible big snowstorm. Last one only brought us 3" and the upcoming one seems to not affect is at all. "only" 3" lol... You wouldn't survive a Georgia winter.

Snowless in Carrollton
What exactly is upstate SC ? Is NE SC ( Florence) considered upstate or is only NW SC (Greenville) considered upstate ? Why would NW SC be considered upstate but not NE SC ?

SN_Lover
Some didn't take my advice I see. Models kind off stalled with trends. The lakes low is killing cold air advection for the comma head to do its work. Still time to improve, but my confidence is less than yesterday. Jonathan
My, you people have short memories. How'd that 3-6" work it in central/east NC a couple weeks ago? I'm just saying don't claim victory until you've won.

Jonathan
I see people tracking a possible storm. I haven't seen anyone "claim anything" perhaps you could provide a link to clear this up? In general, there is a lot of excitement for a storm 4 days out that at this point, doesn't even look great on the operational models. All I'm saying is proceed with caution. I don't need a "link" to back up anything. What kinda garbage is that lolz.

frazdaddy
Beware the NW trend. That has also been discussed in great detail. Trolling is not something you normally do. What's up with that?
mackerel_sky
Beware the NW trend. Would be hilarious if outerbanks got a foot, then it hammers BOS/NYC, bypassing the MA!
burrel2
Beware the NW trend. Not sure what you mean here?? He is rooting for a NW trend as his location is 150 miles too far Northwest from where the model consensus has precip.

I'm only trolling the troll, man. lol I just read over the thread made about what we learned from the 1/22 storm (I got screwed too) and we're falling into the same trap. I'm rooting for everyone. With La Nina coming, this month may be it for a long time.
