mackerel_sky
Then wrong must be the new right.JB said the next 3 or 4 winters were going to be warm, so, as bad as his winter forecasts are, looks like the next 3-4 winters will be money! mackerel_sky
If GSP records 3" of snow in March, I will go ahead with the name change! NOT the lunch! Unless we get to 200%! I feel safe, that will not be an issue!

mackerel_sky
If this storm happens around this time, we have to name it the " leap year" storm, just because! It only comes every 4 years, kind of like our snow!

metalicwx366
Here we go again with the severe weather. This is like a normal weekly occurrence here lol. 8th tornado watch probably coming up Tuesday since being here. Might as well enjoy these storms because there sure as hell won't be any interesting weather in Hawaii.
Brick Tamland
Going to be a busy week with the severe threat and following a potential winter storm for the first of March. Seems to be a lot of energy flying around that could lead to some interesting weather.
NWNC2015
I'm back. I honestly don't see anything much to get excited for. Some cold shots with mountain snow is always nice. I could see one last event for the non-mountain areas of NC but that is 10-20 days out.

NWNC2015
Assuming you've haven't done any model checking in the last couple of days then let me clue you in. In layman's terms, we have one of the best set ups for a winter storm in years during the 28th-2nd time frame. So great that our biggest worry looking ahead is suppression. I haven't done much but a quick glance at temps further out. I think February is done and we are going to need some COLD for March to get us another winter storm between March 1st-20th. No thread or timing miracle/perfect track is going to work in a Wet El Nino. We need sustained dry cold east of the apps for a few days to become entrenched with overrunning moisture from the GOM near the tail end.
