Tacoma Posted February 18, 2016 Share Posted February 18, 2016 Low stays off the coast, but cold air is lacking. well it looks like the Great Lakes area will be High Pressure dominate so models should trend colder for next week with all the moisture around, spells snow to me. The thing is, the GFS runs 4 times a day vs the Euro running 2 times. I'm betting that if the Euro ran 4 times a day, it'd have more wonky solutions also. A big chunk of that is ZR also for the area. I'd have to figure out how to get Tony up this way. No way he could miss out on over 4 inches of sleet. That's the type of storm exclusively reserved for the 300+ hr GFS, unfortunately. It would be nice if real storms happened like that. Honestly, it's just textbook 300-hr GFS stuff.
