Voyager
Haha. I still can't believe the bust I had on that one, but you'll gladly accept my bust on that one I think MDT is good for 3-6" with this one. Take that for what it's worth (Which means get ready to get obliterated with my current seasonal track record ) Good thing the blizzard snow melted off or there'd have been a ton of roof collapses... Anyway, thanks for the response. It helped me to understand a little better!

I-83 BLIZZARD
Will be interesting to see how this plays out down here. What a tough forecast. Hopefully we have more clarity today. GFS absolutely demolishes us down here. I moved here from the coastal plain near Baltimore 14 years ago. This is truly an unusual micro snow climate here. I still have about 70% of my property covered in a 2-3 inch snow pack from the Blizzard despite the torch and heavy rain.
NortheastPAWx
So I guess it's a southern tier storm YET AGAIN. I'm so done with this winter.
Voyager
So I guess it's a southern tier storm YET AGAIN. I'm so done with this winter. Fixed... Anyway, I feel for you guys up there and in Williamsport, I'd really rather see this Norlun (if it happens) form up your way than down south. Itstrainingtime
Horst saying just about everyone will get 1"-3" with a ribbon in that area getting 5". He said that area could be anywhere from Virginia to NYC. I think someone said that in this thread earlier...

pasnownut
Enjoy it while you can...12z GFS shows "groundhog love" and wipes it all away by 324... MVentrice thinks SSW peturbation is happening and might save the backside of winter (not in those exact words mind you). I'm rooting for the latter... Rick G
18z NAM produces a monster tornado that swallows the entire eastern side of PA. I saw that too, it was a ef 8.2 on the wws (wild weather scale). 5.5 for us in nepa.. sounds like a nice start.

Buckle up Storm threat mid month still in the cards - must get these two off the screen before honing in on that. Enjoy what we've been watching from the long range until now... paweather
SEPA can win them all though. We certainly get the trends right now but this setup for tomorrow and Tuesday is living on the edge for everyone that likes snows. I would hate to be a forecaster. MillvilleWx
I'm a meteorologist and I can honestly say that someone is gonna get hit good with this trough and most will get light snow and modest amounts. The thing is, almost anyone's guess where the good stuff sets up. Anywhere from DC to Eastern PA is game. My gut tells me it'll be NMD/SPA will get the jackpot due to climo and forecasted low and LLJ placement. It will be an interesting one to say the least. As a side note, it is going to get seriously cold later this week. LR looks active and should be fun.
Voyager
Yeah. Looking at all the models I can (NAM, GFS, GGEM) they all seem to jackpot the Mason Dixon Line and/or SEPA.
