hawkeye_wx
This system overachieved around here. Several hours of light snow, with a few moderate pockets with big flakes mixed in, dropped 2.3 inches in my yard.
cyclone77
Haven't seen a flake here. Looks like we'll escape this "event" with 0.11" of rain and maybe a few flurries. Perfect way to end this ****bag Dec-Jan stretch for this winter.
Chinook
There's thundersnow occurring right now in Northern MI. Interesting. Here's the radar from APX. If you look at the big picture, it looks like an octopus on its side. Let's go Red Wings.
Geos
Cold front just slipped by. Probably going to be about 1:30 before the snow showers come through.
TugHillMatt
Wet flakes mixing in already. 33.1° WAA was weak with this system. Not here. Easily jumped back and forth to 40 degrees this afternoon and evening. Thundersnow missed me one county to the north and shocker....I got just rain from another system. I need some elevation! Hopefully the wrap-around can provide something.

I would have thought you would stay colder with more snow on the ground. Temp spiked to 37° after the mix stopped.

As soon as a southerly wind blows off of the lake, we're toast. Thaws suck here because of that extra burst of warmth. What the lake giveth, the lake taketh away. Still have 6 to 10 inches in most places though.
Geos
Colder air rushing in now with flurries.
cyclone77
Some non-accumulating mood flakes swirling around in the breeze out there during the last half hour. Pretty uneventful weather condition, but compared to the depressing fog and light rain/drizzle all evening it's a bit uplifting.
Powerball
Wet flakes mixing in already. 33.1° WAA was weak with this system. It's funny you say that. Temps overachieved here over the last few hours, with a high of at least 47*F at DTW. Hopefully, that finally kills what's left of the crud (old snow/sleet/ice) on the grass and streets. josh_4184
Picked up about 3" overnight, perhaps another 2-3" of LES once the clipper pushes through. Snow was a pretty low ratio far cry from the recent LES fluff we have been getting.
