stormtracker
18 would still be decent for ****ty DCA. that beats PD1
Deck Pic
The source for the 21.4" seems to be mike seidel on twitter. The source is me....it was on the CLI...they are fixing it...they already have, but it is still screwed up...I think I mentioned the CLI 5 times now
Bob Chill
How much do you have, Bob? I live near you, but I'm not measuring... Measuring vicariously... I'm really not sure. I'm going to use the coops from Norbeck and Derwood to try and figure it out tomorrow. 27"?

JonathanW
Hard to say if the final band over HGR holds together once it gets here. At least one more good band to move through DCA now. Hopefully somehow someway DCA can hit 20" Hope the HGR band holds together. It's got some green in it on the KCCX radar.
Kat
Here's where they got the DCA number. We had one inch going in, so that makes 21.4 as of 4pm

mitchnick
If BWI had almost 20" at 1pm, then it has to be over 2' now. I have to be around 2'. 5-6" new since the deform band hit. similar here just too hard to measure
Deck Pic
Here's where they got the DCA number. We had one inch going in, so that makes 21.4 as of 4pm It was 14.9 on day...now they changed it to 8,4...which is still wrong...they'll get it worked out...They're around
southmdwatcher
This may be the most intense part of the entire event that I've seen. Heavy snow, windy, 30 degrees. Just heard a storm report for Aquasco MD for 24.5 inches....damn!! that cant be true or is it? That report is halfway between our spots geographically. usedtobe
IS+ and it is ripping in noorthern Calvert, blizzard conditions, probably the heaviest snow of the storm. Now if I can keep it for 3 hours. I can verify the blizzard.

Kay
It's just impossible to measure. Gusts up to 40 right on the water = inaccurate measurement. What are you at? Having similar problems but just made an attempt...multiple places as free from drifting/blowing as possible: 17.5" With the winds and compaction I just really do not know, but, best effort. This afternoon really came though. Getting smoked. +SN BLSN 28F

weathernut85
Love that all of MD/VA is getting in on this now. Totals range from 13-15" down here around the RIC metro with more to come. Total whiteout conditions with yellow bands puking snow left and right. Airport might break it's long streak. Even here on the west side of Williamsburg by Lightfoot, it's been snowing since 11, fairly heavily for the last couple of hours. I think we might be able to squeeze a couple more hours out of this, it seems like the bands on the western shore of MD and up by the Northern Neck want to keep pivoting down this-a-way
