WinterWxLuvr
Yes. Final band is hitting us now. Maybe another 3 hours of decent snow? This is more impressive to me than earlier. I love this. Now it's getting dark and the wind is blowing. I have not been above 24 degrees the whole storm.
MidlothianWX
Love that all of MD/VA is getting in on this now. Totals range from 13-15" down here around the RIC metro with more to come. Total whiteout conditions with yellow bands puking snow left and right. Airport might break it's long streak.

MacintoshPro
I thought DCA was at 17.0" at 4 pm? That's what CWG was reporting. I thought so as well. 21.4 means they picked up 6.5" in 3 hours.
WinterWxLuvr
I've completely given up on measuring. Will do some sort of DCA total blended with close by spotter OBS... Just make sure you measure 6" more than you had. Those Nats games make me thirsty.

dailylurker
Thick snow fog. Can hardly see the trees 200' across the street. Looks like a pixie dust whiteout.
WVweathernut
Still coming down hard and blowing. I've gotten any where fron 30-35" when I measured a little while ago. I went to bed around 5am and we didn't have 12" yet what a day.

andyhb
I thought so as well. 21.4 means they picked up 6.5" in 3 hours. I could believe that. Seems 2-3"/hr is consistent with it across most of its extent.
Scarlet Pimpernel
I dont think it is right? That's why I had the puzzled/OMG look! LOL! Seemed odd, but if true, that's worthy of OMG. Still hoping they at least officially crack 20.
Bodhi Cove
I can confirm that here too. Heavy snow and low visibilities. Same across the Pataspco from you (Sparrows Point/North Creek)

wxdude64
I cleared a some spots and started adding to a previous #. Pretty much what I've resorted to. I think it's the only way. Had to do that for Feb. 9-10, 2010 as well because it was otherwise nearly impossible to measure. Little late to say, but those who do CoCoRaHS, make sure you empty gauge during this and record to add with mornings additional. Otherwise you are core punching snow to get the liquid equivalent (which you should also be doing anyway).

JonathanW
Heavy snow in Montgomery Village with this latest band. Wouldn't count DC out of the fun on this one, either. It's slouching your way.

Gotta be over two feet out there. Probably hit 30 as this final death band is rotting out right over my backyard. You gotta have 20 there by now.
