87storms
this is worthy of the deathband title. not sure how long it'll keep up like this (maybe an hour?), but it's stackin'
HighStakes
We may be able to outdo Feb. 10 2010 today but I don't think there will be anyway to confirm.
arlwx
So who ordered this whiteout in Arlington VA? I can only see three SF houses away (visibility about 100 yards). There have been a couple of insane families using The Hill Of Doom for sledding. I hope VDOT hasn't plowed the road at the bottom of the street (let's NOT have a car encounter). AlaskaETC
Back in from the afternoon jebwalk. 17.5" of inches of snow so far, low confidence measurement though. Might be lower. WInds are howling for sure, pretty much blizzard conditions if I ever seen one. Flake size is consistent and pretty sizeable. Temperature is 24 degrees. - 3:06 PM

Bob Chill
We are right in the squeeze zone from the east and west. Total sponge wringing going on right up and down the corridor. We're the clean up hitters right now. BOOM
Tater Tot
So I just stepped outside and waited for a gust to come and I chose the perfect moment to do so. Got one of the strongest yet almost as soon as I opened the door and got to experience blizzard conditions. I tried keeping my eyes open while the snow attacked them, tried holding the door steady (and failed) and tasted some flakes. Honestly one of the happiest moments of my life. baltimoreguy
Been so weird in Towson. Never got into what I would call heavy snow, but it's been snowing the same unrelenting tiny flakes at a steady pace without stopping for about 23 hours now. Probably closing in on 20"
peribonca
aaaamazing I like that we are getting a strong easterly fetch of moisture from the Delmarva and strong bands spiraling down from the northeast. The convergence is giving us these ridiculous rates!
