mdsnowlover
Finally. Near white out. This is what we've been missing out on since daybreak. Just imagine what our snow total would be if it had set up shop just 15-20 miles further east. got white out for last hour ,really heavy snowfall, small flakes

Ka60
It's been like that in Clarksburg most of the day. Only maybe two 15 minute periods where we slowed to just regular SN. Winds are really up now, NE18G34. 1:45pm total was 25.2" but I've only cleared every 12 hours so that's likely underdone a bit. Here's a small vid from my jebwalk 45 minutes ago: trim.87D4161E-195D-45FB-B5E6-A0A921AB0528.MOV Clarksburg, @ 2:50pm I just passed 31"! Under heavy snow. I have three concrete spots away from wind. JonathanW
Look at slp just off the coast. It's crawling. We're good for a while. Yep. Baro's on a very slow rise. It can take its time. I won't complain
das
You need to get yourself a drywall T-square. 47 inches long. Perfect for the big storms That's an excellent suggestion! I have one in the basement. Way better than a floppy tape measure!

LakeEffectKing
probably aggressive, but if they can "yellow" for a while, then who knows. They don't need to "yellow"....on the backside of storms, radar signals will be lower, but rates may be higher!! Trust me...I'm being conservative with 8 as my bottom number...
