evaporativecooler
Homewood (the undergrad school of arts and sciences) will be open Monday. They dont close... they have like 5 comuters Maybe, they closed for a few days in 2014-2015 though. Professors still have to drive there
84 Hour NAM
Everyone just stop saying this. People have been saying that since 11am. I'm still getting light snow.
JonathanW
This is just biblical in Rockville. I'm getting legit worried about the roof of my family room - has a way less steep pitch than the rest of my roof... There are some strong radar returns from a NE-SW band, the lower tip of which is by Bel Air. The band's moving our way.
DDweatherman
Baltimore might jack the rest of the day. Betting bwi still breaks 20"
coltrane
Anyone in DC relying on pity-driven 3rd-party radar reports? If so I have a bridge for sale.
stormtracker
Hmm, maybe there's hope. I mean, we're not gonna get the fantasy people here been throwing out...but another 1 to 2 could happen
Amped
State College radar shows precip breaking up so probably not that much more accumulating snow left.
heavensbee
Visibility dropped significantly in College Park. Rates picking up. Still small flakes
SomeguyfromTakomaPark
i see absolutely no reason why that would be false. the end of this storm is going to push it into an areawide hecs. The sim radar doesn't inspire much confidence. Has the band sort of just decaying in place and we get a pity band at the end.
North Balti Zen
Baltimore might jack the rest of the day. Betting bwi still breaks 20" Talk dirty to me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Snowpocalypse
I am in the same boat. Been up since 5am for nothing. Same here. Nothing of consequence sine about 5:30am. Finally snowing a little bit now. Lost 8 hrs of accumulation potential.
MacintoshPro
DC's not about to be deathbanded, all though the dryslot is filled in.
NorthArlington101
If I had a half-inch for every time someone says the Beltway is about to get ripped on I'd be 40" past Knickerbocker levels. Those who are getting pummeled go enjoy it and leave us to our sadness.

GirlForAllSeasons
Baltimore might jack the rest of the day. Betting bwi still breaks 20" The problem is BWI sat in the Dry slot for a while..while the city got pounded pretty much all day. BWI is about 8 miles south of the city. I have a bunch of friends in Baltimore and they are measuring 16-20.

87storms
The sim radar doesn't inspire much confidence. Has the band sort of just decaying in place and we get a pity band at the end. i think to the west it'll start drying up, but seems like the focus from here on out will dc and east. i mean, i'm not saying there's going to be another 10", but i think 4-6" is doable. we'll see, idk. Kat
Was really hoping for DCA to hit 20. I knew even if things worked out, it wouldn't break the 28 inch record as low temp and snowfall records at national are almost impossible given its location. There's still a chance of a couple more inches though. Maybe 17 inches? That's not bad.

DCWeatherGuy
Rates have improved here in NW DC, but the snow is just so tiny. It would have to snow for a week for this stuff to pile up.
