MacintoshPro
The mega deathband (at least for me) is all very fine, small flakes coming down quickly. If you were expecting big dendrites you may not get them.

biodhokie
it's probably just wet snow. i was driving through it here in bethesda and in the lull it was sloppier with those mini snowball like flakes that bounce off like sleet. it can look like rain/sleet when really it's just wet snow/graupel/riming/etc. It's what was posted as "rain/snow mix" over in the pictures thread. Looks like graupel or rimmed snow.
motsco
Maybe Ashton WVA, on the other side of the mountains, but MD? I can tell you it's 21 and dumping snow in Bethesda, which is further south. Ashton md. it is not dumping snow here as of now 12:36am there is no wind. I had 2 drivers call in report of rain/sleet , I noticed it myself in olney, per my so called trolling post.
