Snowpocalypse
It is nice to hear positive vibes being sent out to those of us in the grips of satan's snowhole/dryslot. Thank you. Winners are always positive. Try being in a dry slot since 5am and having something good to say while everyone else is counting inches.

GirlForAllSeasons
you can see on wv there's still plenty of moisture/lift to go and the dry air is shifting slowly east: http://www.ssd.noaa.gov/goes/east/eaus/flash-wv.html Great animation. The whole area is gonna get at least another 2-
Solo2
I agree with you. Insane amount of snow up here. Am sure to the NW of us there is a lot more. If I recall, I am 5-6mi NW of you. Think someone above 1200' in FDK county is going over 4'.

Deck Pic
The decent band is slowly pressing south while, surprisingly, decent bands continue to come in off the ocean. No giving up now! I know...I'm not giving up...I know I'll get back into decent bands at some point...Just a bit disconcerting to get snowtv'ed for 6 hours... clskinsfan
I think I'll make that number. I would have bet anything that I wouldn't get 30 but that's already in the rear view. Mind boggling. It just wont stop dumping. I keep expecting it to let up a little bit and it just dumps harder. And now I am getting a little wind. This is simply incredible. No other way to put it. I am heading back out to take a few pics. But I cant really even walk to the end of my driveway.
Bob Chill
I cut 1 strip to the street + the front walk and I'm pooped. I have a lot of work to do over the next couple days. Winds really picking up now. My work will probably end up drifting back in. ugh

I could see it being much like Feb 11, 2010 Well, didn't mean my comment to sound overly harsh...more tongue-in-cheek! We'll see how it works out, I'm hopeful that we do get those kind of rates over this way for awhile this afternoon/evening. Feb. 11, 2010 was about the most intense I've seen, and it went on for several hours that day...was really incredible.
