Random Chaos
I just moved under that heavy band just north of Annapolis, near the bay bridge, with some oranges mixed in. Extremely heavy large dendrite snow coming down now. Haven't seen anything like this tonight. No sleet mixing.

brettjrob
Question for the real experts...Are cg lighting strikes capable in a winter storm? For winter storms in general, absolutely. I've experienced thundersleet and thundersnow here in OK with near-continuous lightning that shook my apartment and set car alarms off in the parking lot. Whether it's likely in this particular storm I can't comment on.

nj2va
Visibility is fine, winds nothing to speak about... and I'm sitting here in central Arlington. What gives? (I'm probably just totally downplaying things in my mind but I want more) I just had a few pretty good gusts come through south Arlington. Winds have been impressive so far I think. Viz has been down during the heavier bands.
