Deck Pic
10z RAP gives DC around 1.4" through the end, and has a band driving through DC at 11pm...WNW areas clean up 10z HRRR gives DC about 0.9" from now through Noon...lol
astarck
6am measurement - 8.2" since midnight. Storm total 17.3". No idea if this is realistic. Tons of blowing and drifting. Many ground measurements in the 16" range.

AlaskaETC
Yet another jebwalk tonight. Snow is moderate and steady, flakes are a fair size. 23 degrees. Drifting is now more obvious, and my measuring is probably suffering because of that. I think I have 15"...maybe a bit more.I'll let someone else in the Franconia/Springfield verify. - 6:05 AM
WVsnowlover
15" as of 6:00am. This is the lowest measurement I can find.

stormtracker
Just ventured further into my yard and am finding depths 14-17. Nice. I was out with Ian and measured 14", but that was like 2.5 hours ago

Deck Pic
Pretty significant difference by MBY and yours, I am on the north end of Petworth near Kennedy st. I wonder if my very slight elevation (around 200 ft) makes a difference. Latitude/Elevation makes a difference for sure.....Also you could have gotten into better banding
SomeguyfromTakomaPark
Nice. I was out with Ian and measured 14", but that was like 2.5 hours ago Seems like we are gonna make a run at 30.
snownerd
Had to shovel a path to take the dog out. Easily over 12 here but it is hard to get a total with the drifting.
SomeguyfromTakomaPark
Latitude/Elevation makes a difference for sure..... Are you keeping up with a snowboard or just measuring depths? When I was using the snowboard yesterday evening I was getting higher totals than the depth. At this point I've given up on the snowboard and am just jamming a meterstick into the ground. Deck Pic
WOW. I wonder if DC gets back to normal this week whatsoever. I live near the convention center and major Streets like K street and 12th street have drifts in the middle of the street. Or in the case of 12th, single tracking....DC is not navigable...
