DDweatherman
Doing pretty good in southeast Baltimore. Was tough to get consistent measurements with all the blowing but we're looking like 9.5-10" depending on location.
aldie 22
That blob may actually turn enough to clip me a bit. If we aren't pivoting after it comes through I'm going to be in a dry area for a bit. It's really beautiful out
Ian
Starting to fill in nicely near and NE of Charlottesville, or so it currently seems.

CoastalWx
You're right, that's how it was at the shoreline--graupel down south and when that band pivoted and tickled Hartford I was ripping snow. I don't think I'm getting 6" in an hour tonight, but 2/hr for a time would be a big win. We have to produce in every band if we want the massive totals. Do you see a gravity wave in that? Yeah, but you see those a lot in mixing. I think they are inertial gravity waves that occur with inversions.
wxmeddler
Anyone know if anywhere has verified blizzard yet? Not in LWX's area. It may have gotten it down in VA with sleet for a period of time, but not in MD w/snow.

Kmlwx
Wanted to measure again before that big band moves in.Starting to get widening measurements when I sample different places due to some drifting.Best guess here in Colesville is 13.2 inches at 3:40am... jacindc
Bigger flakes and heaviest rate in the past hour or so. The leading edge of the blob has reached the Hill.
umdterps29
The aforementioned deathband that's currently hurtling toward DC...I'm scared that's sleet? About 7 miles WSW of Annapolis and it's all snow. Nicely sized dendrites that are piling up fast. I wouldn't be shocked if I picked up 2 inches in the last 30 minutes. Will go out to measure shortly but I think we are somewhere close to 15"
mitchnick
Look how the heavy returns out ofthe Dover radar site are being ripped westward toward us. http://radar.weather.gov/radar_lite.php?rid=dox&product=N0R&loop=yes
