kerplunk
We just never got into those bands... they sat 10-20 miles to our south the whole time. Oh well... Yeah, I remember a storm where Lewistown got 12" and State College got blanked (or very little) - and that's only a 20 mile difference.
Mallow
Yeah, I remember a storm where Lewistown got 12" and State College got blanked (or very little) - and that's only a 20 mile difference. I wouldn't be surprised if Lewistown gets well more than that this time, given what the radar has looked like.

Voyager
I just measured again and I'm up to 9.25". I suppose 15-20 is going to be doable if it keeps up at this rate.

PennMan
16-17" OTG here near Myerstown. Unbelievable. We are going to make a serious run at our 31" in January '96. This is awesome.

Voyager
Talk about a cut-off. I just looked at the 511 cameras in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, and I-81 at the Ashley/Sugar Notch exit at the bottom of the hill (mm164) has moderate snow. Meanwhile up at the exit for Montage Mountain (mm182), next to nothing...

Voyager
Snow intensity has slacked of a bit, but still moderate. I think the northern edge of that Philly dry slot is grazing us here, but if the radar is to be believed, I'll be getting back into the heavier bands again.
