We've tapered off in Flemington almost completely.  I'm seeing reports of 30"+ here.

Yea, even though the radar returns aren't quite as dark, it's still very heavy.

23.5" down.  Nice!   BTW, I know everyone is doing their best but PLEASE take all measurements well away from any structures.  If I walked around my property anywhere near my house I'd be calling in a 30" total, minimum.

just go out and enjoy the scenery..don't worry about the radar anymore lol. just marvel at the atmospheric magic mother nature just pulled on nyc metro.

The QPF numbers the last few hours I think aren't right from NYC as they didn't really match ground reports from our NYC posters of 2 inches or so per hour. The measurement did though and they probably are at 26.1-26.5 already so they should easily get it

wheels finally came off in Oceanside - complete pukefest now - best band of the night- sideways blowing all day long, never changed direction just a few lulls. No snow at all one side of the car and wall of it on the other ...this storm is so epic I can't do anything else but track it!

I think ratios are much better now as the wind has eased up a ton. That could explain the qfp disparity.

Heavy snow continues here, estimating close to 30" of accumulation.

Wow that would be a big difference over 7-8 miles, but always possible.  I was at 18.5" at 5 pm (measured in a huge field, since I couldn't get a good measurement without high variability at home) and with really good snowfall since then, I'm guessing I'm at 22" or so now.

As of 7PM I measured 25" in more sheltered areas. On the sidewalks in direct path of the winds it averages at 18"

Just got in from cleaning. Some drifts literally up to my head in Woodbridge. Could not clean it all. It is still snowing. Still snowing pretty decent. I don't think schools will be open Monday. Maybe not even Tuesday.

I'm in the same band that's over Manhattan right now and it's ripping, so I'm sure they'll get the 1.9" they need, since the 7 pm report of 25.1", to break the record.  When do they measure again?
