those bands are still pushing west from there and meeting up at the city.i dont see this thing ending any time soon,also the low is still crawling off the coast and if it tries to come up the coast even longer.i'd take my chances and say n.y.c hits the all time snowfall record in a couple of hours.

I measured 24" @ 4:00 in Chester, NJ. The insane rate has slowed but still heavy. Anything from here is gravy.

Undoubtedly Central Park ends up at least 3rd on the daily snow record.  Top 3 are 24.1 22.1 and 16.5.  Should easily beat 2 and 3.

 

My old Uncle Wethbee's Weather Almanac shows NYC with 25.5" on 12/26/1947.  Has that data been revised?

Crazy storm, 16-18" in Dobbs Ferry (can't get a super accurate measurement).  Looks like another 4-10" possible depending on how long this nuking can continue.
