Looking at photos of Long Beach, and it looks insane there. Like Boxing Day again.

Piddled our way from 8" to 11" from 9am to 2:45 with crappy little snowflakes.  Finally getting some decent ratios now so hopefully will start piling on.  28F now.  Had been steady at 29 for hours.

NYC about to get nuked under the banding coming SE. Intensity also increasing across Long Island. The next few hours are going to be just incredible. Maybe another half a foot in that time. 

I agree about the nuking but depending on how slowly it pivots we could easily slot in for for another 10.. Ill tell you why: right now nuking at 2 per hr which likely means once the DBZ hits willjump up to 3-4 per hr. 2 hrs and we are golden for a run at 30! Cant believe Im typing these numbers

Well the Nyc travel ban went in effect just in time. It's insane out there right now. Wind and snow have both increased dramatically last 20 minutes.

Epic training for a blizzard. A heavier band just moved in here in SW Suffolk and the rates

are as a heavy as earlier in the morning.
