Rjay
just measured an average of 13" here. KISP, which is 2mi away is reporting 15" right now That's going to happen in these type of events. Also, most of our measurements won't be 100% accurate.
CIK62
How can JFK and LGA report only about .50" liquid and have about 16" each, while CPK has 1.5" (Could someone post current total in CPK) since I see none listed like the other locations. At 30:1 ratio, if such a thing is possible with temps. in upper 20's) wouldn't CPK have near 50"! What gives?

They had 6.0, then had .90 liquid and only got another 8.7 inches? Ehhh, maybe but I think its low. EWR I think may be too high at the same time. North and West of Town
About as heavy as I've seen it at MMU since February 13, 2014. Just bonkers. Dry and powdery; I'm guestimating around 16", but that's likely conservative.

danstorm
That's going to happen in these type of events. Also, most of our measurements won't be 100% accurate. People (myself included) always want to get the most. Then once the storm hits, I'm reminded that the difference between 15 or 18 or 20 is really pretty negligible. CIK62
The historical note about Bof88 is probably true, since I read that in large open field areas (no drifts possible) in Bensonhurst the snow was 4 feet deep. With those high winds and low temps. who knows what really happened.
