WintersGrasp
I'm IN that death band. Guys. This is incredible. It's a blizzard. That's the only way to describe it. After all the sleepless nights and anxiety I could cry. I'm the happiest man alive. I can't see more than 150 feet away. Heavy heavy snow. Up to 16 " here. Nice!! Even the short term models are not picking up on that insane band out there. Send it west please ? Awesome storm here and the long duration is helping me out, however, I've yet to be under an intense band of snow to put this up with the other top snowstorms i've experienced. 13" here right now
ag3
That would put us over 30. Wow 12z Rgem had 45mm of liquid after 7am. At 7am, we had 6"-8". So a total of about 25"-30".

Superstorm93
Death band will rotate SW, then slowly move east. In the process it will bury most of NJ and NYC. Fun times with a deformation band. Rates should rival BDB

nzucker
That record in 2006 is bogus. It didn't look like 26.7 inches at all. Most people agree that March 1888 was actually NYC's biggest snowstorm. New Haven had close to 4' across the Sound, and parts of Brooklyn got three feet. Central Park grossly undermeasured in that storm, and they probably did in '96 as well.
