 I'm using Weather Underground, radar out of Long Island.  Tons of 30-35 dbz echos backfilling through Westchetser.  Started up in Southern Putnam, currently filled back to just north of I87.  Another band with 25-30 dbz echos is rotating up, currently in northern Long Island through Harlem.

Got the same close to 9" since 9am close to 10" going to hit 20" in next half hour and snowing to beat he band. Berkeley heights 24?degrees heavy snow 19.5" 12:55 pm

I think the right decision was made to postpone FrancesaCon at Irving Plaza. What a storm. I can't remember the last time bridges and tunnels were closed outside of Irene or Sandy.

The baseball writers association dinner in Brooklyn cancelled because of the storm.

I've had moderate snow here for several hours now. A little over 12" on the ground. Need to get into a heavy band to push this one over the top (the one in NW NJ will eventually settle east; hopefully doesn't weaken much!!). They've been north and south of me so far

2003 is most likely in jeopardy. Probably 96 but I dont think 2006.

2014 i think the beginning of the new year the governor ordered all cars off the road shut down the lirr metro north and the subways as well...
