dbc
Heavy heavy snow in CT. Love it. Not for nothing, but the hrrr is wayyy off with the current snow bands. Does anyone know of a better short term model? Try the RAP. Seems to have been pretty good so far imho. HRRR is always too eratic for my liking. LVblizzard
I'm in East Stroudsburg, PA which is a mile from the NJ border. It is an absolute whiteout here. The picture doesn't do it justice.

deathstar9
10.5" in Dobbs Ferry as of 12:35pm. About 2-2.5" in the last 2 hours. Can't believe the models are spitting out another 8-16" up here through 2am. Wind and drifting definitely picking up with gusts in the 35-40mph range. deathstar9
Wholly crap there is a band that was stationary over southern putnam county rotating south and meeting a band coming in from the city. Could be 1.5-3" per hour rates over central/southern Westchester for several hours soon.
EasternLI
Light to occasionally moderate snow as bands move through here. Biggest change is noticeable increase in winds the past hour.
