Because the governor is a clown and made several stupid statements already today about why it was more important for him to campaign in NH because 8-12 is no big deal. later he realized it sounded callous and stupid ( of course ) so he decided to come back to manage the disaster because he's such a good administrator....he'll be conducting a press conference, I assume it won't involve the Port Authority, because all his former cronies there are facing prison time. Frankly the more he is out of the state the better.
