NYC can still easily see 18" but 24+ is a bit much. I agree with this, the record is a long shot unless some sort of mesoscale band forms within the area to the west as it pivots through. I think they end up around 20-22 but getting to 27 will require something extraordinary Disagree. Think the band is setting up to be over NYC at its strongest. It will build back a bit like it did in 2006. I don't know if we'll get the record but that's just cause the record is so high. I don't think 27 would be "extraordinary" in this set up.
