That dryslot in PA was closing in on Hunterdon and Somerset Counties quick, but it filled in nicely...heavy snow!!

 

I have no clue how much because of all the wind...half my deck is bare, and the other half has 2ft drifts already!!

That dry slot will fill in and bands will keep developing off the ocean. That dry air is ascending. The lift on the other side of that dry slot is tremendous! Also this storm will begin its pivot in a few hours and the CCB will setup across the metro. This thing is a beast!

Fyi, frequent gusts past 35 counts as well. It's not just sustained wind (pretty sure it used to be though).

Since last night, The RAP model actually showed that band setting up on the north shore dropping a tremendous amount of snow.....crazy to actually see it happening. It also showed it starting to push a bit west into the city and NE NJ

In the last 20 minutes it's gotten noticeably heavier and everything is coated now, even the street, I'd call it low end moderate because the trees a quarter mile away just disappeared.  You should get into some better rates soon.
