Doesn't seem like it. The dry air to our north has really slowed the progression from ewr north. That is a losing battle now as that band by me pushes north. Just woke up wanted to be up for the main part of this bad boy

Just got back from Hailey's.  Snow started around 8:40 pm and was very light for a few hours and then started picking up around 10:30 pm, when we just had a dusting on the ground.  As of midnight, we now have 1.25" on the ground, which is about an inch over the last 1.5 hours.  Snow falling moderately now.  24F and gorgeous out there.  

As of 3 am, we have 3.0" here in Metuchen, which translates to 1.75" in the past 3 hours or about 0.6" per hour.  Just got in from my first shoveling and it's snowing moderately.  It is absolutely beautiful out there - love the perfect silence of a pristine snowfall in the wee hours of the morning.  Might nap for a couple of hours now, as I'm beat...

Seriously. There's some explosive convection going on down offshore of Cape May where it was once dry. Cant wait to be in that stuff later.

It's a heavy band for sure , this should start to pivot soon and set up in a north to south fashion by morning . The new NAM just dumps.

I love that you weenie out on this stuff, even in Texas! Though I might argue it's even harder for me to watch as I'll be on the wrong side of the fronto banding.
