Heisy
New HRRR shows a dry slot around Philly and SE from now to about 1pm with the deformation band setting up NW of that, then rotating SE around 3pm and just slowly stalling over the city
mahk_webstah
Agonizing in what I think is a subsidence zone. I hope things shift east a little. An hour ago it looked like we were settling into blizzard conditions for a while

rcostell
Extended lull here in Haddon Heights NJ (5 miles east of Center City, Phila.) . Timing the snowplowing…Is this subsidence from bands to west? Do we get in on CCB as the pivot progresses? Just a tad underwhelmed at this point…any educated prognosis for I-295 corridor? shemATC
Out the last hour+ playing with the dogs and shoveling. Seems to be about 17-18" or so, but tough to find consistent spots. I have noticed the change in snow type. By the end it was noticeably wetter and soaking my jacket and gloves. Also can tell it is sticking to trees more despite the wind. Heisy
The fact that Philly and points SE would deal with less QPF because of dry slot was pretty well knows by yesterday afternoon. It sucks, but it is what it is. Now we just gotta hope the deform comes south and holds together when it does.

Ralph Wiggum
Check radar loop in particular over NW NJ into NE PA....there is a band setting up and moving South-Southwest and pivoting now. I assume this is going to be the deformation band or at least meet up with the band just NW of Philly in a couple hours? Radar loop is just insane, lol!
