KamuSnow
Check t the 3 hour pressure drop at 2 am...they had to stretch the scale to accommodate it, lol. It's also a bit east from where it's been the last few hours. Birds~69
It's super nuts out there. Tried to take a walk....the wind/blowing snow is a killer on your face. Absolutely great to watch but it's not easy to take a stroll. 22.2F...thinking 7.5+" so far
phlsnowman24
FYI - 6Z NAM destroys SEPA. No dryslot. Doesn't cut off until late tomorrow evening I hate pinning my hopes to the NAM, lol. Still sets up the best N and W of the city though.

KamuSnow
FYI - 6Z NAM destroys SEPA. No dryslot. Doesn't cut off until late tomorrow evening I was wondering if that deepening a bit east could help with the dry slot.
Birds~69
Drifts are becoming evident. My car is becoming smoked (snow wise) while the neighbors it's blowing off. It's the way the houses are placed and wind direction....meh, I'll deal with it. This is well worth it!

RU848789
As of 3 am, we have 3.0" here in Metuchen, which translates to 1.75" in the past 3 hours or about 0.6" per hour. Just got in from my first shoveling and it's snowing moderately. It is absolutely beautiful out there - love the perfect silence of a pristine snowfall in the wee hours of the morning. Might nap for a couple of hours now, as I'm beat...

Cary
Almost 6" on the ground here in Palmyra, NJ (right across the Tacony-Palmyra bridge obviously). Is it unreasonable I'm sad that PHL might dry slot? Heaviest band looks like it sets up over NW burbs and CNJ on latest modeling. Yes, it is unreasonable. Stop focusing on the models, watch the radar and just enjoy the storm.

KamuSnow
... That NAM 4km snowfall map looked a little lighter than 0z, but then I realized it's counting from 06z or 1 am est, so I guess add that to whatever you had at 1 am...

Birds~69
Lol....a power snooze sounds like the answer. This is unbelievable I did the "power snooze" from 9-11pm last night...it worked out. I'll check out the radar and when I see maybe a bit of a break....yep, power-snooze again. Definitely want to see daybreak, no doubt about it. 22.1F Blinding snows/wind...you name it. snowwors2
I don't believe this is an hallucination... Our system looks like it has slowed its northern progress and is beginning the pivot.. That stuff down over Cape May looks like it will pivot through Philly and Northwest burbs... got to get some sleep before it hits ‼️
