KamuSnow
Breaking off from the discussion thread. Storm should begin sometime this evening. Currently high circus clouds and 21 at work in Ewing. Not familiar with circus clouds, but I know what you mean :-). It got pleasantly cold here last night, 15F at 6 am, which is always a good way to start out the day with snow moving in later. 23F here now. shemATC
This morning was still bitterly cold. Up to about 26 now, but still dry (39% humidity). The amount of static charge I put out getting in and out of the car is amazing.Definitely going to take a while to saturate the air. Plenty of virga to start off. shemATC
before things get nuts, can someone remind me what the visibility distances are for light/mod/heavy snow? Every storm there is always someone pointing out someone over stating the intensity.

RevWarReenactor
I was just up on top of Iron Hill at the Maryland/Delaware border and could see the top of the comcast center in Philadelphia, about 40 miles away. Means Air is still very dry. But it sure does feel like Snow out. What a time to be alive; outside in the woods just before a blizzard checking out the views. shemATC
and it's about 20 miles away I agree, the CCast Tower wouldn't be that wide at 40 miles, and you would also see the spires of 1 & 2 Liberty
