TalcottWx
I don't think 3 inches an hour ago is so far off actually. Especially in Winthrop which is anther mile or 2 ne? I had 2 more inches 2 miles SW 15 minutes prior to their measurement.
BrianW
Any reports from CT shoreline? I'm down in DE. Heaviest missed us here to the north. Allentown with 32" Have not measured in hours but easily over a foot here. Friends along the shoreline down towards Clinton/Old Saybrook said the same. Its still ripping as well. weathafella
That Central Park record has stood since '88 ah, 1888 - woah Nope. 2006...lol. Prior to that 1947.
radiator
I would estimate 12 to 15 in Easton for CT shore. Will measure once this last band passes. Wondering whether you're close to the Merritt or some other part of town. I'm near the center, and don't have a good clear place to measure against, but I'm seeing 10" to 12" readings (where it's not obviously either shielded by the house or trees, or drifting). RIcoastalWX
Well it does align pretty nice with the coastal front. kbox_0102z.png Exactly… Shortly after the Coastal Front passed here, the temps dropped quickly and the snow began to let up almost immediately. A flurry to two and 24.8/22.

A flurry to two and 24.8/22. Might suggest that current precip generation is more low level in nature rather than mid level now.
snowman21
61 kts at GHG! Is that right or snow caked on sensor? Does GHG have an ultrasonic wind sensor? It's not NWS or FAA owned, at least it doesn't appear to be based on the IFW install list, so it may still be an old school cups and vane sensor unless whoever owns the station upgraded it themselves (I assume it's an AWOS?). Nikoss427
I have 4 inches here in the most undisturbed area I could find. My parents in Willington that was under the heavy band have 6. My friend in eastern Mansfield on 195 has 9 inches. Not bad from the 1-3 I was expecting.
