Moderate to heavy snow now in Wickford. High wind so the snow is falling horizontally and not settling on the ground, at least this close to the bay. 33/33 with wind about 32 mph sustained.

nice, moderate to heavy here and more flakes than I thought 2 days ago after that Euro and EPS run that wiffed even.central Jersey

Intersection of 78 and 1 in Westerly.

More cams here http://dot.ri.gov/travel/cameras_scounty.php

Good call by Taunton not to continue the blizzard warning from the CT coastline to the RI coastline…. lol.

Visibility has been 0 or yards at times for the past hour.

Here's the push...it's now or never for central CT as things are gonna pivot there soon...further east it should try and lift north for the next 4-6 hours before pivoting.

Looks like it's already made it up to Portsmouth NH...

Judging by latest SPC analysis, the confluence look really isn't nearly as inhospitable as one would think, along eastern New England. Mid and Upper level heights really have responded well.

The flow even over southern NH has a southerly component to it.

Well composite radar will always look worse because of how its designed. Single site tells the story.

There is really strong frontogenesis just offshore trying to move in. Battling my sh*t stain streak to the north.
