#NoPoles
I'm waiting for the period with the greatest chance of thundersnow A friend of mine back in the 90s, brought coffee to Cantore as he was reporting live from the Natick Mall (Massachusetts)...my friend was invited into the live shot, and then he and Cantore helped dig a car out that had gotten stuck in the snow... monadnocks
Question... how much snow can the average deck handle? I've never had an elevated deck before (mine was built summer before last) and I'm wondering how often I should be clearing it off. It's about 8'x20' and is supported by 3x 6x6's in concrete footers and lag bolts to the house. Thoughts? Ours has repeatedly stood up to having snow up to the railings. It's not as high as yours but I'll be it's the same 6x6s supporting it into concrete footers.

Ltrain
I've convinced the GF to take a walk overnight in the worst of the storm. It's a miracle. I was going to go alone anyway.

PrinceFrederickWx
My goal is to get a video of thundersnow for once in my life. Still jealous cause my wife got one in the middle of the night on Feb. 6, 2010- and she's not even a weenie like me! First house had a heat pump. Moved here from OH and was like what the heck is a heat pump. Told the husband that the new house must have a gas furnace. Is what I grew up with.
