jm1220
DC might get caught by the dry slot yet. It's still coming north on the Dover radar, and that's pivoting west towards DC, and as it is, they're getting close. The pivot needs to happen very soon for them. jm1220
6z NAM pretty much a repeat of the 0z. Snow hangs on from NYC-east through midnight as the CCB pivots through. What an epic run.

rogue
I am just going to say it. I have perfect snow growth at my house. Temp 16.7 F Radar is sick and I just got 6 Z NAM'd. 40 inches locally I'm in nearby West Milford. What has not been discussed (unless I missed it) are snow ratios for this event. With respect to the qpf numbers on the 6z nam of 2.8 - 3", all snow, even a nominal 12:1 ratio yields three foot totals; 15:1 and you're nearing the 4 foot mark. Of course, that's assuming that those qpf numbers verify. Don't know what to think. This is largely unchartered territory with these potential numbers.
