BxWeatherwatcher
things are still trending in the right direction for us around the city and l.i.the latest hrrr has a massive precip plume heading due north then northeast from the Tennessee river valley, plowed over might be the best way to describe it if that initial over running hits us strong before the storm even pivots that ccb right over us.the nam,the ukie and the latest short range models all have this thing coming north, stronger and much wetter for the entire area.still some time to tweak the forecast though. CODNEXLAB-regional-southeast-rad-ani24-201601220715-100-100-raw.gif Once that squall dies down, its going to release a ton of latent heat in relation to the sub tropical jet. Also, by that time we'll have a 300mb jet kicking across that you really only see during historical east coast systems. Everything is on track, if not better right now.
