Had the best snow of the day 2 or 3 hours ago then nothing since... but it just started back..and business is finally about to pick up with some some convective type precip coming from the south. Snow with the upper low finally seems to be on the increase too. I think many will make up a some ground soon.

Freezing rain with sleet mixing in.  Just really starting to accumulate on trees now.  Looks to be a lull in precip coming up soon, so we may luck out on the N and W side of wake county.

yea bulk of the heavy precip band about to move thru brier creek in a few, thank goodness.

We got 3-5 inches of snow and probably 1-2 inches of sleet. Thats a guess. It's hard to tell bc when it was sleeting it was pouring and really compacted.

Thanks for the report. It has been painful watching this storm and the discussion leading up to it from 9,000 miles away.

Light sleet starting back up after a lull

Ventured out during the lull and the roads are a mess

About 2.5 to 3 inches of snow/sleet.

23 degrees

I was wondering how much we had on the ground.  It doesn't seem like as much as it is because of how the sleet falls in between the grass blades, haha.  Sleet is so hard to measure.  Now the coastal is cranking, so let the games begin.  Even if it's all sleet, we should have some fun!
