wawarriors4
I'm hoping the low bombing is going to take the sleet line south. I'm keeping the faith. I'm hoping would like to go for a walk in true Blizzard Conditions

Demeter
Loop that radar posted above. You will already see that line moving east and the west side collapsing south. Far west spotsy back to snow. Exactly what I wanted to see, thanks!
MacintoshPro
mixed sleet / frozen rain here in RVA, been this way since 5. Why were the models so wrong? It looks like the NAM was right with its northward extent. This meant not much for the DC area, as we were still getting pummeled either way, but the NAM changed RIC earlier and gave NYC snow as well. SomeguyfromTakomaPark
Measured depths between 6.5-8 inches on my deck when I specifically avoided drifts. Using the snowboard measurements I'm at 7.7. Anyone else measuring in NW DC? Trying to get some confirmation that I'm not messing this up.
pogoism9
I can vouch for the sleet here in Spotsylvania. I'm approx 5 miles east of Locust Grove. Its the loudest sleet I have ever heard, but there is alot of snow starting to force it's way back in around these parts

osfan24
RGEM looks amazing, especially for anyone along 95 between Bmore and DC. Up to 3.5 qpf. You would think the NAM was off its rocker, but RGEM basically mimics it.

WeatherNC
Starting to rip again, dendrite structure is much improved compared to the past couple hours. Areas from CHO to EZF and north of the IP line are getting smoked, that band looks to be the climax of the front end dump. Winds continuing to increase here which works well for the drifting enthusiasts.
